Volunteer Advert

We rely on the incredible support of volunteers to run our charity and fulfil our mission. Our dedicated volunteers, including trustees, administrators, tour guides, cafe staff, and wildlife enthusiasts, play a crucial role in our success. Without their valuable contributions, we would not be able to operate as a charity. If you are interested in volunteering, we have several exciting vacancies available for you to make a difference.

Become a Trustee - Shape Our Future: We are seeking individuals with excellent organisational skills and a passion for our cause to join our board of trustees. As a trustee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our organisation and ensure our goals are met.

Administrative Roles - Keep Operations Running Smoothly: If you enjoy behind-the-scenes work, our administrative roles are perfect for you. Support our daily operations, assist with various tasks, and help us maintain efficiency.

Tour Guides - Share Captivating Stories: If you love engaging with people and have a knack for storytelling, become a tour guide at our museum and colliery site. Lead groups, share captivating stories, and provide insights into Pleasley Pit's rich history.

Cafe Volunteer - Serve with a Smile: Our on-site cafe is a bustling hub, and we need volunteers with hospitality experience or a passion for customer service. Join our cafe team, enhance the visitor experience, and support our charitable work.

Wildlife Volunteers - Protect Our Natural Environment: If you have a passion for wildlife and conservation, our wildlife volunteer opportunities are perfect for you. Contribute to the maintenance of our country park and nature reserve, help create habitats for local flora and fauna, and preserve our natural environment.
