Please take note of the following important information:

Extended free car parking spaces are available for your convenience from 9:30 am to 2 pm with the exception of Tuesdays, when we are closed. 

Outside of these hours, the gates to the extended car park are locked.  The maximum vehicle height restriction of 2.3 meters at the parking entrance.

For visitors to the Country Park and Nature Reserve, there is a smaller free car park (owned by the Land Trust) adjacent to the main site entrance. This car park is located on the lefthand side, just before the main gates as you approach the site.

Operating hours:

March 1st to September 30th: 6:30 am to 9 pm

October 1st to February 28th or 29th: 6:30 am to 6:30 pm

Outside of these specified times, the gates will be locked. In the event that you find yourself locked in, contact the Land Trust security team on 08453 454542 for assistance. A call-out release fee of £50 will be charged for this service.
